Your use of the Global Custodian subscription services is subject to the following terms and conditions ("Subscription Terms of Use"). By accessing any areas of this website and using subscription services (which includes subscription to GlobalCustodian.com, GlobalCustodian Magazine and free bi-weekly news broadcasts), you agree to be legally bound and to abide by Subscription Terms of Use and GlobalCustodian.com Terms of Use. If you do not agree with any part of these Subscriptions Terms of Use or GlobalCustodian.com Terms of Use, you should not use any of the subscription services offered. By registering to and using this website, you agree to all terms, conditions and notices contained or referenced in Subscription Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these Subscription Terms of Use, please do not register with or use this site. We reserve the right, at our discretion, to update or revise these Subscription Terms of Use and GlobalCustodian.com Terms of Use. Please check these Terms of Use periodically for changes. Your continued use of this Site following the posting of any changes to the Terms of Use constitutes acceptance of those changes.1. Access and Use
GlobalCustodian.com is split into two sections. Areas and levels of access that are: (1) accessible to all; and (2) accessible to paying subscribers.All of GlobalCustodian.com and Global Custodian Magazine content belongs to Asset International Inc. own all intellectual property rights (including copyright and database rights) in the Global Custodian content and any selection or arrangement of the Global Custodian content may be used for your personal, non-commercial use:
- retrieve and display Global Custodian content on any compatible device;
- print a single copy of individual articles on paper (but not photocopy them);
- email the article appearing on GlobalCustodian.com to a maximum of twenty individuals;
- store such articles in electronic form on disk or on a mobile device (but not on any server or other storage device connected to a network);
- use spidering technology to search and link to GlobalCustodian.com, provided that you do not infringe the Restrictions on Use below.
Restrictions on Use: You may not use GlobalCustodian.com for any unlawful purpose. Except as expressly set out above, you may not copy, reproduce, publish, broadcast, transmit, modify, adapt, create derivative works of, store, archive, publicly display or in any way commercially exploit any of the Global Custodian content. Without limitation, you may not do any of the following without prior written permission from Global Custodian (and neither may you allow a third party to do any of the same):
- with the exception of personal, non-commercial use and redistribute any of the Global Custodian content, including our headlines (including by using it as part of any syndication, content aggregation, news aggregation, library, archive or similar service);
- remove the copyright or trade mark notice from any copies of Global Custodian content made under these terms and conditions;
- create a database in electronic or structured manual form by systematically and/or regularly downloading, caching, printing and storing all or any of the Global Custodian Content (by spidering or otherwise); - frame, harvest or scrape the Global Custodian Content or otherwise access the Global Custodian Content for similar purposes.
Linking: If you would like to link to GlobalCustodian.com, please read and comply with the following guidelines and all applicable laws. A site or service that links to GlobalCustodian.com:
- may display an Global Custodian logo but must not otherwise use any Global Custodian trade marks without permission from Global Custodian;
- may link to the homepage of GlobalCustodian.com, and on an ad hoc, non-systematic basis deeplink to other pages of GlobalCustodian.com;
- must not be a site or service that infringes any intellectual property or other right of any person or that otherwise does not comply with all relevant laws and regulations;
- must not be a site or service that contains content that could be construed as distasteful or offensive.
At Work Use: If you are using GlobalCustodian.com and your use extends beyond personal, non-commercial use then you should contact Global Custodian content sales team at smousaeva@globalcustodian.com to discuss your business requirements, since it is possible that your use of Global Custodian Content extends beyond what is permitted by these Subscription Terms of Use. In particular, all requests to republish, redistribute or syndicate Global Custodian Content, whether headlines, full text articles (or parts thereof) or the right to use Global Custodian Content internally within your business (for example, as part of a regular information dissemination service or on a company Intranet) or any external use that you may make (for example, within client reports or briefings) should be addressed to us, as such use falls outside the scope of use permitted by these Subscription Terms of Use.
2. Privacy Policy and Registration
We are committed to protecting your privacy. We do not sell, trade, or disclose your personal information to others without your prior consent. We do share aggregated user information with certain third parties. For example, we may share aggregated site traffic patterns or aggregated survey data, but not in any way that would enable any third party to identify information about individual users. For more details, please read the GlobalCustodian.com Privacy Policy.All information received by you from your use of GlobalCustodian.com will be used by Global Custodian in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
On registration, you must provide Global Custodian with accurate, complete registration information and it is your responsibility to update and maintain changes to that information on the registration and profile update forms. This is particularly important if you subscribe to receive Global Custodian Magazine. Global Custodian is entitled to rely on any information you provide to us.
Each registration is for a single user only. On registration, you will choose a Username and Password, or the Username and Password will be provided to you by Global Custodian Subscription Services team in case if the registration is not made through the online registration form. Global Custodian does not permit any other person sharing your Username and Password or access through a single Username being made available to multiple users. Global Custodian may suspend your access to GlobalCustodian.com if you do this without further obligation to you.
You are responsible for all use of GlobalCustodian.com made by you or anyone else using your ID and for preventing unauthorised use of your Username. If you believe there has been any breach of security such as the disclosure, theft or unauthorised use of your Username or any payment information, you must notify Global Custodian immediately by e-mailing us at subscriptions@globalcustodian.com or calling +44 (0) 20 8133 1523. We recommend that you do not select an obvious Password (such as your name) and that you change it regularly.
3. Registration and Security
When you register to become a GlobalCustodian.com Member, you will be asked to provide certain information about yourself, such as your name, telephone number and address. You agree to provide accurate and complete information when registering to become a GlobalCustodian.com Member. This information will be subject to our Privacy Policy. Once you have completed the registration form and the payment is received from you, you will be allowed to access areas of GlobalCustodian.com premium content according to the selected subscription plan. As discussed in our Privacy Policy, it is important that you keep your Password confidential at all times and not share them with anyone.Global Custodian is obliged to take all reasonable precautions to ensure that your account is secure and that your personal details are not accessible to any third party operating in the normal course of business. With regard to your payment card details, these will be held securely by PayPal payment platform and will not be stored or be available via the GlobalCustodian.com site. Your card details will be carried out over secure connections. With regard to other personal information, such as your name, address, etc. this will be accessible by you using your Title Case via the GlobalCustodian.com website over a standard internet connection. Your GlobalCustodian.com Title Case may be sent to you by standard email and may appear on screens within the restricted area accessed with your Username and Password. Details of account status and date of your subscription expiration can be obtained with your Username only. Your GlobalCustodian.com Title Case will not allow anyone to see your card details, or initiate any payment on your card, unless you have deliberately made your GlobalCustodian.com Title Case the same as your Title Case for your account with your payment processor. GlobalCustodian.com advises strongly against doing so, and if you choose to do so it is at your own risk. GlobalCustodian.com must not and will not knowingly discuss or disclose your account or any of your personal details with, or act upon any request made in relation to your account by any person who does not provide your full Title Case as proof of identity or accountholder authority. Where login details are unavailable and cannot be retrieved, verification of other personal details will be accepted. Global Custodian is entitled to monitor activity on your account, and if this activity suggests that your Password may have become compromised, access must be suspended to protect your personal details. Global Custodian will then issue you with a new Password and reactivate your account within 24 hours
4. Individual Subscription
Subject to receipt of the appropriate account creation fee submitted through an authorised payment processor, bank transfer or check, the GlobalCustodian.com is obliged to offer you the means of creating an account online. Each individual subscriber will be required to complete our online or paper based subscription form. In the event of any problem with the online account creation (whether caused by computer failure or user error) GlobalCustodian.com will create an account manually for you within 24 hours of receipt of communication from you outlining the problem and providing filled in paper bases subscription form with the details of your payment.Global Custodian provides the following subscription services on paid basis:
- Website Only Subscription Plan - includes subscription to all content available on GlobalCustodian.com;
- Magazine Only Subscription Plan - includes subscription to the print copy of Global Custodian Magazine, and DOES NOT include access to any of the online premium content;
- Package Subscription Plan - includes the subscription to all GlobalCustodian.com content and Global Custodian Magazine;
- Registration to free bi-weekly news broadcasts - Registration to free bi-weekly news broadcasts entitles user to receive GlobalCustodian.com news twice a week via electronic newsmail, with headlines of most important recent posts on GlobalCustodian.com.
The prices for one year's Individual Subscription are as follows:
- Website Only Subscription - £300
- Package (Web + Print) Subscription - £390
- Magazine Only Subscription - £250
Individual subscription renewal is provided under the same conditions described as above. An email alert is sent to each subscriber prior to the subscription expiration date, however we are not responsible for the delivery of these emails once they have been sent from and left our server due to the policies and functioning of other companies and systems that they rely on for email delivery (for instance, anti-spam filtering on user's computer or email account; user's email account being over quota, etc.). Total of 4 renewal notices are sent to each subscription account holder (or billing contact if specified) by post: 4, 3, 2, and 1 months prior to the subscription expire date. We are not responsible for the delivery of the renewal notices once they have been sent from and left our mailing provider.
The subscription plan can be changed on renewal. If you would like to change your subscription plan before the current subscription expire date, please refer to Section 5.
5. Changing Subscription Plan
Existing subscribers may upgrade their subscription plan to Package subscription plan (which includes subscription to GlobalCustodian.com and Global Custodian Magazine) only if they are already registered to Website Only or Magazine Only subscription plan. The subscription plan cannot be changed from Package Subscription Plan to Website Only or Magazine Only Subscription Plan.Those subscribers who are registered to free by-weekly news broadcasts may change their subscription plan to Magazine Only, Website Only or Package subscription plan by renewing their subscription under the selected subscription plan.
6. Corporate Subscription
Corporate (company-wide/group-wide) subscription includes a lump subscription for a number of employees within an organisation or division.Company-wide subscribers are provided with an unlimited number of Website Only subscription plan accounts and a limited (replace with "capped") number of Magazine Only or Package subscription plan accounts for the whole organisation. The contact person for a company-wide subscription account is provided with a single registration link to distribute among all employees within the organisation. In cases when subscription is requested by company employees individually, corporate subscription may be granted provided if the employee's email address domain name belongs to corporate domain names range.
Group-wide subscribers are provided with limited number of Website Only and/or Magazine Only or Package subscription plan accounts.
The contact person responsible for a company-wide/group-wide subscription account contact person has a right to update the list of subscribers registered under the corporate subscription. Those individuals who have resigned/retired from the organisation may no longer be able to use their corporate subscription, and will need to be renewed on an individual subscription basis.
7. Corporate Subscription Renewal
Corporate subscription renewal terms are negotiated based on the number of current Website Only, Magazine Only and Package subscribers registered under the corporate subscription.8. Cancelling Subscription and Refund Policy
You may cancel your subscription within 30 days of your subscription start date. The balance on the remaining period of service will be refunded. In case if the payment has been processed by credit card, the refund is credited to the credit card account holder. In case if the payment has been received by check or bank transfer, the refund amount is sent to the payer by check. Refunds will not be made if payment details are not provided, if you do not identify yourself sufficiently, or if your communication does not reach us due to factors beyond our control.9. Payment Policy and Security
You must provide us with complete and accurate payment information. You can pay by credit card. In the case of unauthorised payments Global Custodian reserves the right to suspend or terminate your subscription to GlobalCustodian.com or Global Custodian Magazine. If you are paying online your subscription will be activated immediately upon receipt of your payment.Any payment information you send to us over the Internet is encrypted using 128 bit Secure Socket Layer technology. Online payment is processed by the Paypal payflow link. SSL is currently the preferred method to securely transfer credit card data over the Internet.
Payments can also be made by check or bank transfer. To send us a check or bank transfer payment you need to fill in our online invoice form. You will automatically become a GlobalCustodian.com member and will receive invoice immediately to the email address you have submitted during registration. Your subscription will be activated within 24 Hours after your payment is received.
All fees are paid in GBP (£) (or USD equivalent which is calculated at the currency exchange rate at the date of payment).
An agency discount of 10% applies on request from subscription agencies. An online invoice form needs to be filled in to request a subscription invoice with 10% discount.
10. Service Reimbursement
Global Custodian is responsible to fix any technical faults on GlobalCustodian.com of which it is aware or informed. We are responsible to compensate any failures with your access to GlobalCustodian.com or receiving the Global Custodian Magazine by providing equivalent services, only in case if the failure resulted in technical faults on our end. Global Custodian is not responsible to compensate any failures to access GlobalCustodian.com or receive Global Custodian Magazine that resulted in your using wrong access information or providing incorrect or incomplete address information. We recommend that you use our Password Reminder feature in case of password loss and check the completeness of the address information that you fill during the registration process, by going to the Update Profile form on GlobalCustodian.com.If you subscribed to Global Custodian subscription service, Global Custodian is obliged to grant you access to your personal account via a unique username and password. While every effort is made to ensure that the site is available at all times there may be occasions when, due to unforeseen technical difficulties that may affect the server, the internet in general, or other equipment, the site (including your personal account) may be unavailable. Global Custodian makes no representation that your account will be available at all times and accepts no liability for any temporary unavailability for the period of no more than 24 hours, for which no refunds will be made.
